What is PeopleString to You?
PeopleString has been a great place for me to meet new people. It is my favorite social network.
Your Personal Experience?
I joined PS in December of 2009. I have met some wonderful people. Many I speak with on a daily basis. I have, also, made some valuable business contacts. There are many people just like me who are looking to supplement their current income.
Your Goal Long Term PeopleString Goals?
I am looking long term with PS. I want to build up a nice residual income. I realize this is not going to happen overnight. I am not in a hurry. If it takes me a couple of years to start making some good money, then I will be totally satisfied. Sure, it would be nice if the money grew faster but the only way to fail is to quit.
Why would you stay with PeopleString?
The PS leadership is full of techie guys who keep making this social portal better. I like the fact they have integrated with all the other big social networks. It's not really about beating the other guy but more about joining them. I use PS to access all my information from one social portal. Basically I just love the site itself. The fact that I am making some extra cash is just the icing on top of the cake.
What would you advise a PeopleStringer to do when they first start PS?
When first starting out, I would explore the site. Find out what each tab does and where it takes you. Then, it all depends on what you want to accomplish. I like to hang out in the forums. That is where I have made most of my contacts. You will meet some great people, get some good conversation, and learn some valuable information in the forums. Next, if you want to build PS as a business, you have got to plug in to some training. There is plenty to be found. Just check out the Events Calendar and find something that fits in to your own schedule. If that doesn't work, then there is some training set up by Dr. Lenny. You can access this information 24/7.
